Former Iowa Hawkeyes star and now Indiana Fever sophomore Caitlin Clark recently reacted to a post of her former college basketball coach, Lisa Bluder. The former Hawkeyes tactician uploaded a photo of herself on Instagram on Monday, Sept. 15, holding two water bottles on the porch of her backyard while wearing a yellow Hawkeyes V-neck shirt.
Bluder is holding the bottles from Clark’s collaboration with the global water bottle company, Stanley. The bottle in Bluder’s right hand is the iconic Stanley bottle that’s equipped with a handle, a light blue top, and has details of Clark to accent it. In her left hand is the more traditional hydration bottle, with similar details and colors to the other one.
“I’m not sure which one of these terrific new Caitlin Clark Stanley water bottles I should drink out of first?! Thanks CC,” Bluder captioned.

The 23-year-old dropped a three-word comment, presumably to give a solution to her former coach.
“Both at once,” Clark wrote.

Much to the delight of Bluder and the Hawkeyes faithful, Clark’s stardom continues to grow with brand endorsements, deals, and collaborations with companies like Stanley. Recently, Clark introduced her signature logo with global sportswear corporation Nike, which will be used in her own set of player exclusives. She will also have a signature shoe line in the future.
For Bluder, she stepped down as the main tactician of the Iowa Hawkeyes‘ women’s basketball team in 2024, ending a 24-year stint at the helm of the program, just as Clark exhausted her collegiate hoops eligibility. Jan Jensen is the new head tactician of the Hawkeyes, beginning from the 2024-25 season onwards.

Caitlin Clark And Lisa Bluder Reached The NCAA Championship Game In Consecutive Years
The tandem of Caitlin Clark and coach Lisa Bluder was best known for their two-year run, in which they made the 2025 NCAA championship game on back-to-back occasions. The first came in 2023 when they defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks by four points, 77-73, in the Final Four. In 2024, they beat the UConn Huskies, 71-69, in the semifinal matchup of that postseason.
In both seasons, though, the Hawkeyes finished as runners-up, as they lost to the LSU Tigers and the Gamecocks in 2023 and in 2024, respectively. Following the losses, Clark was selected with the first pick in the first round of the 2024 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever.
