Myles Garrett Trade: Analyst Makes Feelings Very Clear On Browns’ $160,000,000 Star Amid Disaster Start

The Cleveland Browns are off to a disastrous start this season. Two games in, the team remains winless, and the early signs point to another year of struggle. The poor performances have already ignited questions about leadership, direction, and the commitment of key stars, with Myles Garrett being at the center of those conversations.

Garrett made his frustrations known privately before the season began. While reports suggested he considered pushing for an exit, the Browns convinced him to stay by finalizing a blockbuster contract. Garrett signed a deal worth $160 million, making him one of the highest-paid defenders in league history.

Despite the new contract, the issues that weighed on Garrett never really disappeared. The start of this season has only magnified his concerns. As per analyst Tony Grossi, Garrett will request a trade this year.

“Based on his flip-flopping, I’d say, fact [Garrett will request a trade before next year],” Grossi said on ESPN Cleveland. “And the frustration he’s already showing. He is playing his best football, and it’s not having an impact.”

Tony Grossi stated that Myles Garrett already feels like he is wasting his career playing for the Cleveland Browns. He has made First-team All-Pro four times since 2020, and he won the 2023 NFL Defensive Player of the Year title.

Grossi believes that Garrett wants bigger things for himself, and wants to be in the spotlight for good reasons, and also aspires to be a part of the Super Bowl, and he has the talent to achieve those things.

Myles Garrett Commented on Embarrassing Loss Against Ravens

The Cleveland Browns were completely outplayed by the Baltimore Ravens in their Week 2 matchup. In the first half, the Ravens led 10-3. In the second half, it went from just being another loss to an embarrassing loss as they gave up 31 points.

Speaking to the media after the loss, Garrett expressed his frustration.

“I mean, the s*** is embarrassing,” Garrett said. “We got to be better on defense. We got to be better as a team. They slowly chipped away, and we did a solid job, holding them to three when we could, and then eventually the dam broke, and they just did whatever they wanted, and we have to continue to play a 60-minute game.”

That frustration has fueled stronger trade speculation. Analysts and insiders have begun to suggest that if the Browns continue to collapse, Garrett may not see out his long-term deal in Cleveland.
