The Cincinnati Bengals and their supporters waited in suspense on Sunday. Star quarterback Joe Burrow went down with an apparent injury in the second quarter of their Week 2 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars after he was sacked by defensive end Arik Armstead, which appeared to twist Burrow’s left ankle. He stayed down for a few minutes.

Following the hit, Burrow attempted to stand and walk off the field on his own. He soon sat down on the turf again, indicating that he needed help from the training staff. He was assisted to the medical tent, and after about seven minutes, he was seen walking back to the locker room with the trainers’ help.
The Cincinnati Bengals put up an official update on Burrow’s update, revealing that the quarterback has suffered a left toe injury and his return is questionable.
