On3 Sports posted a video on X, showing visuals of the altercation. It was difficult to spot the players in the middle of it, and almost the entire rosters of both teams were on the spot, most of them making noise as the crowd got behind them.

Voter Haley Sawyer raised eyebrows with some of her picks; the Gators were one of the most notable among them. The Gators started their season on a high note, registering a 55-0 win against LIU.
In Week 2, they faced South Florida and were handed a 16-18 loss. Despite that, the Gators were placed 14th on the list by Sawyer. That led to a massive outrage on social media by fans, and they asked for an explanation.
“As far as what my votes are and what my process is,” Sawyer said. “Don’t want to get too much into my process or logic, but I will say I appreciate everybody’s interaction on social media.”

The casual response only made the fans more furious. If the Gators manage to beat LSU today, who are ranked in the top 3 by most voters, they’ll stand a chance to improve their ranking further.
