Calls Mount From Fans To Fire Luke Fickell As Alabama Trumps Wisconsin In Blowout Win

When Luke Fickell joined the Wisconsin Badgers, many analysts and fans believed he was the perfect person for the job after seeing massive success with the Cincinnati Bengals for the first time in the program’s history.

After ending the season with a 7-6 overall record in 2024, Badgers’ college football season started on a good note as they won both of their first two games; however, an emerging trend has some fans worried.

During their Week 3 matchup against Kalen DeBoer’s Alabama, the Badgers were down 21-0 at halftime with the offense struggling to make an impact on the field.

The matchup ended with Alabama taking home a 38-14 win that sent the Badgers fans in a fury.

    “Fire Fickell,” one fan demanded.

“Time for the Fickell experience to end. No fire to this team. How does the whole OL go down by the 3rd game?” another fan commented.

“Fickell was brought in to be competitive in big games. And he’s yet to beat ANY team with a number by its name. Enough is enough. Admit the mistake. Fire him, and then fire Mac for ruining the football program and letting Marisa Moseley abuse the wbb team for years,” another fan added.

“Last year, I wanted Jason Eck to replace Phil Longo. Now I want Jason Eck to replace Luke Fickell. This program is, at best, stuck in neutral. Fire Fickell. Badgers can do better,” another fan expressed their thoughts.

“They destroyed The Shell for this!? Fire Fickell!” a fan expressed frustration.

“Cancel the season. Fire Fickell. Find some NIL money. Get a quarterback,” another fan suggested.
