The Bruins have leaned on Iamaleava early, and he delivered 255 yards through the air and two total scores against UNLV. While he’s taken on his fair share of pressure, there have been no indications of an injury setback. He remains healthy as the focal point of UCLA’s game plan.

    Kwazi Gilmer (WR)

Gilmer caused a stir earlier in the season when he briefly looked shaken up, but coaches have since said he’s fine. He’s been a full participant in practice and is expected to see his usual workload against New Mexico.

    Anthony Woods (RB)

Woods arrived with questions about durability, but he’s been available for the first two weeks. His carries have been limited in a backfield rotation, though he’s likely to continue in the early-down mix.

    Additional Notes

UCLA’s running back tandem of Jaivian Thomas and Jalen Berger has shouldered the rest of the load, but the ground attack has been inconsistent. Pass protection has also been spotty, though there are no new reported injuries on the offensive line.

New Mexico Injury Report (Week 3)

    Marcus Vinson (TE)

Vinson is questionable with an undisclosed issue. His role has mainly been as a depth option, but any absence would thin out the Lobos’ receiving group even further.

    Shawn Miller (WR)

Miller remains questionable for the game after an issue that surfaced in late August. Losing him removes an experienced target and puts added pressure on younger receivers.

    Kader Diop (WR)

Diop is also questionable against UCLA, dealing with an undisclosed injury. Diop missed the last two games for the Lobos.

    Outlook

UCLA enters the contest in better shape overall. Iamaleava, Gilmer, and Woods are all available, giving the Bruins stability on offense. New Mexico, on the other hand, continues to juggle a thin receiving corps with Shawn Miller sidelined and Keagan Johnson still uncertain. If the Lobos can’t find reliable pass-catching options, they could struggle to stay in this game.

Protecting Iamaleava remains UCLA’s main challenge, but if the line holds up, the Bruins should be able to take advantage of their health edge in this matchup.
