Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels made his second start of the 2025 season on Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers. The former LSU Tigers star’s mother Regina Jackson was in attendance at Lambeau Field.
Minutes before the game, Regina was spotted at the sidelines having a candid moment with sports reporter Taylor Rooks.

Fans started reacting to the video, knowing Regina is not only Daniels’ mother but monitors his every step in the professional league as his personal manager.
One fan humorously suggested Rooks needed Regina’s approval before speaking with Daniels:
“Had to ask permission to interview her son 💀”
“She was just making sure she doesn’t have her son’s number,” another fan added.

“She is politely telling her to stay away from her son,” one fan commented.
“Who wants to tell Jacob in the blue he’s not part of the conversation?” one fan posted.
The fashion choice also got plenty of attention. One user noted:
“The mother dressing like a WAG with the customized leather jacket…? Something sinister has always been afoot here.”
“Jayden is her chance at another vibrant life, it’s no different than players’ moms starting a community for their child’s high school team.”

Jayden Daniels’ Struggles In The First Half Lead To Commanders’ Loss In Week 2
Jayden Daniels didn’t seem like himself during Thursday’s encounter with the Green Bay Packers. The quarterback struggled to make long passes and in the first half he could not pass even for 50 years as opposed to Packers quarterback Jordan Love who led two successful touchdown drives while passing for over 200 yards.
Because of this, the Commanders trailed by 14-3 at halftime. In the third quarter as well, the Commanders struggled to get near the end zone while the Packers, with a field goal, extended the lead to 17-3. In the final quarter, Daniels showed his prowess by getting to the endzone successfully twice to explode for 15 points. But it was too late to stage a comeback as the Packers also scored 10 points of their own to win the game 27-18.
Daniels finished the game with 292 passing yards and two touchdowns after completing 19 of 31 passes. His shortcomings in the first half was too much for Washington to overcome in the final quarter.
