Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift got engaged last month. Their engagement announcement post on Instagram went viral within minutes and is currently at nearly 37 million likes. The internet celebrated it like they were personally involved in the process.
However, someone who is a part of the Kelce family didn’t talk about it on her platform. Kylie Kelce, wife of Jason Kelce, didn’t discuss one of the biggest news stories of the year on her podcast. After receiving flak from furious fans, Kylie recently decided to set the record straight.
In a recent episode of her podcast, Kylie explained to the trolls that there’s a difference between her personal and professional life, and she has no intention of blurring the lines. She responded to all those who trashed her for ‘ignoring’ the Travis-Taylor event.
“People do not realize that you at home, you have your family, and in your family you might have a brother-in-law,” Kylie said. “You might have a soon-to-be sister-in-law, but you have a relationship personally with them that no one else is involved in.”
Kylie explained that Swift is already a part of the family, and congratulating her and welcoming her in is something that she prefers to do privately.
“I don’t need to come out here and make statements when I already talked to them, you know what I’m saying?” Kylie added. “I don’t need you to clickbait my sh*t.”

The host of the “Not Gonna Lie” podcast stated that she feels happy and grateful that Swift will officially be a part of their family now. She also revealed that her kids are elated that their uncle, Travis Kelce, is getting married.
Kylie Kelce Was Previously Targeted by Fans Online
Due to the stan culture, fans feel entitled to everything related to their favorite stars and often cross a line in the name of being a fan of someone. Since Taylor Swift is one of the biggest names on the planet, people around her often get targeted over trivial matters.
During an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Kylie Kelce revealed that she once refused to eat at a private dinner organized by Swift.
As expected, fans blew the issue out of proportion, and it reached a point where Kylie had to address the matter. She took to her own podcast to respond to everything that was being said about her.
“I didn’t refuse anything. I wouldn’t refuse anything, especially if I was without child,” Kylie said. “I would not refuse a home-cooked meal because I love food.”
Kylie Kelce was pregnant at the time, and the decision not to eat was made under those circumstances. Only if the Swifties had taken a step back to understand it at the time, a member of the Kelce family wouldn’t have felt the need to explain her personal matters.
