“Tank for Arch Manning”: Miami’s Nightmare vs. Colts Has Fans Begging for Texas Star

The Miami Dolphins’ season opener became a total fiasco when upset fans took to social media to call for the franchise to tank for Arch Manning after a disastrous first-half showing against the Indianapolis Colts.

Miami was down 20-0 at halftime and fans have already begun calling for the team to give up on the season to get a better chance at the top pick in the draft. Dolphin fans have welcomed Manning to being their next franchise savior.

“Tank for Arch Manning,” commented a fan.

“Gotta get him on the tank for Arch Manning train Jenks,” stated a fan.

“But also tank for Arch Manning,” said a fan.

“Dolphins finna tank for Arch Manning,” commented another fan.

“Dolphins are finally gonna tank draft Arch Manning and set their franchise back another 15 years all over again,” said a fan.

“Arch is officially a Dolphin”, captioned a fan with a hilarious edit of Arch Manning donning the Dolphins jersey.

On the other hand, it was Tua Tagovailoa’s two critical turnovers that disrupted Miami’s offensive rhythm and enabled Indianapolis to build up enough momentum that Miami couldn’t recover. The first mistake occurred with the Colts’ only 3-0 lead, Tagovailoa significantly overthrew Tyreek Hill who was trying to cross the field.

Colts safety Cam Bynum caught the poorly thrown ball for an interception and returned it to set up Daniel Jones for a 27-yard touchdown to Michael Pittman. Indianapolis now had a cushion and Miami’s previous struggles were revealed in the first quarter.

The second turnover was even worse for Miami’s quest for a title. Defensive back Kenny Moore strip-sacked Tagovailoa on Miami’s next possession and Xavien Howard recovered the fumble for his new team.

Jones took in a one-yard rushing touchdown only a few plays later to extend the lead to 17-0, crushing any chance Miami had of being competitive in the first half.

The first half eventually ended with a sorry 20-0 scoreline for the Dolphins.

In his second games as a full-time starter against San Jose State, Manning went 19 of 30 for 295 yards and had four touchdowns. The highlight of his performance was a magnificent 83-yard touchdown, showing off his arm strength.

Manning’s first game, against the Buckeyes, had some mixed results for the prospect, as he completed 17 of 30 passes for 170 yards, one touchdown and one interception in a 14-7 loss.

It will be interesting to see when Manning will enter the NFL draft, as it can be anywhere from 2026 or beyond, depending on how his college development goes. Regardless of when, desperate Dolphins’ fans have already identified him as their franchise savior.
