“She Needs To Stop Picking Up Calls”: Fans React as Dawn Staley’s Former Star Rejoins Caitlin Clark’s Indiana After 4th Waiver

The Indiana Fever is going through a tough time right now. With Caitlin Clark’s horrific injury and the hopes of the WNBA playoffs in peril, Fever fans are worried about the program’s future this season. However, the latest news might cheer up the Indiana faithful.

After a chaotic time, Fever has finally made a decision regarding Dawn Staley’s former star. Ex-South Carolina’s Bree Hall has at last found a home in the WNBA. After drafting Bree Hall earlier this year, Fever waived her when the squad was full. She temporarily joined the Golden State Valkyries. But in an unexpected turn of events, Valkyries also waived her.

Hall was without a team when Indiana’s injury struggles became a blessing in disguise for her. Caitlin Clark’s Fever has now signed her amid the absence of some key players. Fans were evidently shocked by the outcome of the whole saga.

A fan compiled the unexpected series of events.

Fans were delirious to recollect the drama-filled saga.

“She need to stop picking up they calls,” one fan joked.

“Bree better make it onto a roster next season because this is foul lol,” another said.

“Bree hall needs to know her worth,” one fan commented.

“Just wasting her time! She needs to stop picking up their calls. They are wasting her time,” one fan exclaimed.

“They really need to leave my girl alone at this point,” a user voiced concern.

“That’s why it’s always good business to be extremely likable, teens will continue to call and eventually you’ll stick,” another user explained.

Dawn Staley has always spoken highly of Bree Hall. She would certainly be a good addition for Fever. Clark’s absence will affect them, but adding another piece might just work for the rest of the season.

How Would Caitlin Clark’s Injury Affect Indiana Fever?

Since Clark’s injury in mid-July, Fever’s record has been subpar. With just under a 50% win rate, Fever have won nine games out of the last 19. They look at the WNBA playoffs with a hard eye.

Despite Clark’s impact and unreal talent, there are many players who, on their best day, can single-handedly pull the Fever out of the water.

With Sydney Colson’s addition this season, the Fever has an impressive roster on the court. Aliyah Boston, Lexie Hull, Sophie Cunningham, and Kelsey Mitchell have all picked up the pieces when required.

However, the happiest person on the squad just might be Aliyah right now. Two of Dawn Staley’s girls are now reunited at Indiana. Can ex-teammates find their chemistry again? Can they propel the Indiana Fever into the WNBA playoffs?
