Top 10 CeeDee Lamb Memes as Cowboys Star’s Errors Cost Dak Prescott and Co. in Primetime Loss

The Dallas Cowboys’ season opener on Thursday against the Philadelphia Eagles became a laughingstock on the internet. Just looking at the scorecard, one can’t think CeeDee Lamb had a bad game, as he racked up seven catches for 110 yards.

However, those who watched the game would have a different memory of it. The Cowboys went neck-to-neck in the first two quarters, trailing by just one point at halftime. But the mistakes made by Lamb cost them the game as they lost 20-24.

Lamb dropped three passes in the second half, four overall, and missed multiple potential big plays that could’ve guaranteed a dub for the Cowboys. The internet went into a frenzy after Lamb’s disaster in the second half. Here are some of the most notable memes:

The popular theme for memes made on Lamb was missing hands since he dropped the ball four times in the game.

Antonio Brown also joined the fans in trolling Lamb with handless pictures and GIFs.

One fan posted a GIF of Vince McMahon with the caption:

“Dad how a*s was post storm delay CeeDee Lamb?”

NFL Memes posted a picture of a scared tiger with the caption:

“He realized he not built for this.”

Another GIF from NFL Memes was of a waiter tripping and falling on a car with the caption:

“CeeDee Lamb with the game on the line.”

Hater Report posted a video of a man looking backwards on a roller coaster with a serious face, with the caption:

“Dak Prescott looking at CeeDee Lamb on the flight back to Dallas.”

One fan posted a GIF of Homelander with the caption:

“Miles Sanders watching everybody blame Ceedee Lamb for the loss :”

A fan posted a video of a man ripping off another man’s hoodie with the caption:

“Michael Irvin coming down to the sideline to rip of the 88 from Ceedee Lamb:”

The fans came up with some photoshopped images as well.

As much as the loss must’ve stung the Cowboys, Lamb stepped up and acknowledged his mistakes.

CeeDee Lamb Took Full Responsibility for the Loss

Even though in team sports one player can’t be blamed for a loss, if it weren’t for a few mistakes CeeDee Lamb made in the second half, the Cowboys would’ve walked away with a win. So, after the game, Lamb acknowledged that this loss was on him.

The 26-year-old stated that he feels terrible about the loss and assured the fans that this isn’t going to be a sour memory for long. He showed immense confidence and claimed that he and the Cowboys will bounce back from the setback.

“I take full accountability and everything else that comes with it because as for me, as a player, I pray for moments like that and the ball to come my way,” Lamb said. “Obviously, for me to not come up with it, it stings a little bit.”

“But I will tell you, if you think I’m not coming back 80 times harder than this, you got another thing coming,” he added.

The Cowboys will play the New York Giants at home next on Sept. 14.
