    Bear Fretwell, OL

Fretwell is a massive (6’7″, 290-pound) tackle from Georgia whose commitment to the Tide became public on Jul. 25. Fretwell is a three-star prospect who isn’t currently one of the top-ranked recruits. Fretwell had been committed to Georgia Tech, but Alabama offered him a scholarship on Jul. 5. Less than three weeks later, he backed out of his Tech commitment and decided to move ahead with the Tide.

    Tayden Kaawa, QB

Kaawa is a 6’5″ QB from Utah who recently picked the Tide. He’s a three-star recruit who isn’t ranked in 247’s national rankings. Kaawa had offers from a variety of programs, but he was extended a scholarship offer by Alabama on Jun. 11. He visited later that month and then made a public commitment to the Tide on Jul. 22. He joins four-star QB recruit Jett Thomalla in the class.

    Jireh Edwards, S

Edwards is a 6’2″ safety from Maryland who immediately became one of the highest-rated recruits in Alabama’s class on his commitment. 247sports ranks Edwards as a five-star recruit and the No. 26 player in the nation. Edwards took official visits to Alabama, Oregon, Georgia, and Texas A&M last month. He quickly chose the Tide and made a public commitment on July 5th. Edwards is one of four five-star recruits in the class.

    Nolan Wilson, DL

Wilson is a 6’4″ defensive lineman from Mississippi who is another significant part of Alabama’s recruiting class. 247 placed Wilson as a four-star recruit and ranks him as the No. 102 player in the nation. Wilson took official visits to Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Miami, and USC. He committed to Alabama on Jul. 4 and joins five-star defensive lineman Xavier Griffin as the top defensive line recruits in Alabama’s class.

    Cederian Morgan, WR

Morgan is an in-state prospect and is a 6’4″ pass catcher. Morgan made official visits to LSU, Florida, and Alabama in June, with the visit to the Tide coming last of the group. He quickly made up his mind, making a public commitment to Alabama on Jul. 2. 247sports ranks Morgan as the No. 12 player in the class, making him a five-star prospect and the second-best wide receiver in the nation.

    Potential Alabama Targets

    Ash Roberts, WR

Roberts is a speedy 5’8″ pass catcher from Philadelphia. Alabama is one of several schools involved with Roberts, who is an unranked three-star prospect. The only offer Roberts is noted to have received in 2025 by 247sports came from Temple. His diminutive size could end up taking him off of Alabama’s board, but for the moment, he’s a possible target.

    Ben Congdon, OL

Congdon is a 6’7″ mauler of a tackle who hails from Ohio. The issue for Alabama is that Congdon is a Miami commit. Congdon committed to Miami back in March and was offered by Alabama later that month. He has subsequently taken an official visit to Penn State, which suggests that his recruitment might not be final, and Alabama might still get involved.

    Tristen Keys, WR

Keys is a massive recruiting prize, a 6’2″ receiver who is the No. 4 player in the class nationally. Keys committed to LSU in March, but the Mississippi standout took his official visits. That said, Alabama didn’t rate one of his visits, even though he went to Junior Day at Alabama in February. With a big season, the Tide might get back in on Key.
