Cardi B, girlfriend of New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, was not shy to talk about her messy divorce from Offset during her recent appearance on The Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM. The Grammy-winning rapper shared some of her more authentic and candid comments to date on the end of her marriage to the $40M worth rapper.
“Going through a divorce is very, very tough because you marry somebody and the person that you divorcing is not that person that you marry,” Cardi B revealed during the interview (0:38).
“You you really ask yourself like who the f**k did I marry? Like there is no love there.”
She also explained that she had always felt if she ever walked away from something, it was on good terms. Cardi B mentioned that she gets along with all of her exes, and even if they don’t stay in touch, things never ended in a nasty way.
“It has gotten to the point that it’s like I feel like I really hate you. Like you’re I think I hate you,” she continued with brutal honesty (1:04).
“Everybody should walk away. Walk away with what they came with. Things going to hurt for a couple of months, but especially when there’s kids, it’s like we should be able like to co-parent. We should be able to have a conversation 100%. But it’s not like that”, she further elaborated.
The Grammy winner also admitted that she was going through something very dark, referring to her divorce with Offset. She also compared the feeling to the pain of losing someone, explaining that it was like experiencing grief and then also having to deal with the bills of the funeral.
Cardi B And Stefon Diggs Navigate Public Romance While Divorce Drama Continues
In 2024, the rapper’s personal life took a great most positive turn as she started dating Stefon Diggs. The relationship became “Instagram official” in June 2025, which signified to the world that Cardi had indeed moved on from her marriage to Offset.
Diggs, who signed a three-year, $63.5 million contract with the Patriots, has supported Cardi’s career and personal endeavors by even surprising her with a diamond watch worth $73,000 in August 2025.
Cardi and Diggs’ romance has endured a few negative public scrutiny and brief rumors that they broke up during 2025. Still, the two either share flirty pieces of banter on social media and are often seen attending the same social events.
Cardi was spotted supporting Diggs with a few football events, including participating in his youth football camp.
