Ohio vs Rutgers Odds, Picks, and Prediction (Aug. 28)

The Ohio Bobcats will open their season on August 28, when they host the Rutgers Scarlet Knights of the Big Ten. The game will be the first encounter of Week 1 of this season, but not the first of the season, as other programs have already played some games on Week 0.

In 2024, Ohio had a successful year, winning the Mid-American Conference, the Cure Bowl, and finishing with an overall record of 11-3. Rutgers, playing in the much more competitive Big Ten, finished with a 7-6 overall record and managed to get invited to the Rate Bowl, which they, in turn, lost to Kansas State.
