While Ohio State are indeed the defending champs, much of that championship-winning team have already left. On the other hand, Texas is widely seen as the stronger team, as the Longhorns have surrounded Manning with much talent, including Anthony Hill, considered the best college linebacker today.

As for the winner, this will be a close game, as Ohio State will be at home and will not be going down there without a fight. That being said, Texas will be the likely winner, as the team is filled with much better talent and momentum coming into the game.
