Former Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers joined the NFL this year. He started his college career with Ohio State in 2021. The following year, he went to Texas and established himself as one of the best players in the program.
In this year’s NFL Draft, he was the 231st pick by the Miami Dolphins. Recently, Ewers made his NFL preseason debut with the Dolphins. The Dolphins concluded their three-game preseason run with a win over the Jaguars.
After the last game, his girlfriend Madelyne Barnes, who was in attendance, took to social media to share several pictures. In the first picture, she posed next to Ewers. The rest of the pictures featured her friends, who were also there to watch the game.
“My NFL man🤗” she captioned the post.

Ewers commented on the post as well, showing love to his girlfriend.
“ILY 🤟” he wrote.

The Dolphins quarterback also did a photo dump on his Instagram account, where he boasts over 277k followers. Most of his pictures were snapshots of himself or his team during the game.
The Dolphins started their preseason run with a tie. They played the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field, and the game ended 24-24.
Their next challenge was against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field, and the Dolphins came in prepared. They registered a 24-17 win over the home team.
The last preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars ended in a blowout win for the Dolphins as they ended the run with a 14-6 victory. Now, they will play their regular-season opener in about two weeks.
On Sept. 7, the Dolphins will play the Indianapolis Colts at the Lucas Oil Stadium. So far, Ewers has been impressive, and one of the people he has impressed is his former teammate.

Arch Manning praised Quinn Ewers
During his time with the Longhorns, Ewers was the QB1, and Arch Manning, despite being from a celebrated family, was his backup. Now that Ewers has made his way into the NFL, Manning has taken over the starting QB role.
Ewers didn’t have the best outing in the preseason game, but he bounced back against the Lions and threw two touchdowns. When Manning was asked for his take on Ewers’ NFL run so far, he heaped praise on his former teammate.
“Yeah he balled didn’t he? He’s a baller, bro. He’s accurate. He makes plays. So I’m excited for him,” he said.

Arch Manning understands the kind of pressure Ewers was under by simply having him as his backup. But through it all, they have become good friends. During an SEC Media Day, Manning talked about his friendship with the former Longhorns QB.
Manning said that he thanked Ewers for handling all the pressure like a pro. The 21-year-old also revealed that he often reaches out to his former teammate for advice on his game.
