Angel Reese Draws 1-Word Shoutout From Stefon Diggs’ Girlfriend Cardi B Over Chic Pregame Outfit

Angel Reese’s latest collaboration with fashion brand Diesel has drawn the attention of Grammy Award-winning rapper Cardi B, girlfriend of New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Earlier on Monday, the Chicago Sky star dropped a reel of herself walking down the red carpet in an all-Diesel outfit in what seems to be part of a promotional campaign for the brand.

Cardi B reposted the reel to her Instagram story, clearly supporting Reese’s work with the brand:

“Exactly,” Wrote the rapper on the Instagram story

The former LSU player is known for her collaborations with various industry-leading brands, which, in addition to Diesel, include Reebok, Beats by Dre, PlayStation, Amazon, Raising Cane’s, and Hershey’s.

Reese made the jump from college to the WNBA in 2024, when she was drafted with the seventh overall pick by the Chicago Sky. Her time with the franchise has been successful so far, with her being named a WNBA All-Star in both 2024 and 2025. She was also the league’s rebounding leader last year.

Angel Reese On Her Rivalry With Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark

It’s not a secret that Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark have a rivalry that dates back to their college years. On two separate occasions, the LSU and Iowa stars faced each other on their way to the national championship game during the NCAA tournament. Reese came out on top the first time, but Clark got the better of her on the next occasion.

Since then, the rivalry has been transferred to their WNBA performances and has been perceived as somewhat of a personal feud by the media and the public. Not for Reese, for her, it’s just pure competition:

“Social media is going to put two women against each other,” Angel said. “And I think it’s just being able to be something that is negative but also positive. I think it shines light on women’s basketball. So I’ll take that of being able to be the person that gets the hate, but I know that at the end of the day, I’m growing women’s basketball, and helping women’s basketball.” Said the Chicago Sky star to “Complex”

Despite a second season full of injuries, Clark has had the better transition into the pros. In 2024, she was named the WNBA Rookie of the Year and was an All-WNBA First Team pick. Like Reese, she has been twice named a WNBA All-Star, and in 2025, she won the Best WNBA Player ESPY Award.

Regardless, Reese can always say that she’s an NCAA national champion and Clark isn’t.
