Dallas Cowboys’ tight end Jake Ferguson is set to marry former Miami Hurricanes basketball player Haley Cavinder. On Friday, the former Cane posted a video to Instagram asking her twin, Hanna Cavinder, to be her maid of honor. Something nobody is probably surprised by, given that the pair is incredibly close.
As part of her decision to make her sister her maid of honor, she bought her a special maid of honor gift: A customized set of golf clubs and their bag. The twins have been getting into the sport as a new hobby since finishing their college basketball careers at Miami. They have even been seen hanging out with Kai Trump, the granddaughter of President Donald Trump. Kai is committed to the University of Miami as a golfer.

Haley Cavinder and Jake Ferguson have been dating since September 2023, and they got engaged in April 2025.

Haley and Hanna Cavinder have been focusing on becoming lifestyle influencers and entrepreneurs. One of their most recent ventures is a gym training app called Twogether, in which they guide their customers on their fitness journey to achieve results like theirs.
This is something they knew they wanted to do as early as the start of 2025, with them telling ESPN in February:
“We kind of started out as trailblazers,” Haley Cavinder said, “and now we’re becoming entrepreneurs.”
“It’s kind of been in the blood, so being able to see their work ethic every single day definitely resonated with Haley and I at a young age,” Hanna Cavinder said. “Even before NIL did pass, we wanted to do something together. Our life has definitely changed tremendously, being able to capitalize off of every opportunity.”
They’re also working with brands like Under Armour and DICK’S Sporting Goods, for whom they will be the face of their upcoming ‘How To Be An NIL Influencer in 7 Easy Steps’ campaign. One thing is clear: college was just the beginning of the story for the Cavinder twins. It also goes to show the new routes NIL is opening for this generation of student-athletes.
