Deion Sanders’ Hypocrisy Called Out By Fans As Colorado HC Breaks Own Dress Code Rules: “You Gotta Win Something for These Nick Saban Standards”

After his battle with cancer, NFL great and Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders is finally back in Boulder and working. In a newly surfaced video, the former Dallas Cowboys star was seen lecturing his players regarding the school’s dress code, urging them not to wear hoodies or earphones in class.

“No slides,” he told his players. “If I see you with slides on campus, it’s gonna be a problem, If I see you with a hoodie on or some headphones on in class, there’s gonna be a problem. If I see you at the back of the classroom, it’s gonna be a problem, do we understand that?”

However, while he was saying this, the coach was wearing a hoodie himself, and fans were quick to point out the hypocrisy:

“Love Time. But you gotta win something for these Nick Saban standards,” said one commenter.

“While he’s wearing a hoodie 😂,” another fan noted.

“he’s wearing a hoodie tho ? 👀,” another person pointed out.

However, there were also a few who defended the Hall of Famer, pointing out that they were not in class at that time, as well as noting that this sets a good example for his players over at Colorado.

“Looks like Coach Prime’s setting the ‘Drip’ standards high! Better leave those slides at home and bring your class ‘Vibe’ on point, or you’ll be feeling the heat more than just on the field!,” said one person.

“Good. Hockey players are required to follow a specific dress code, it’s respectable. Looking respectable equals feeling good and feeling good equal success,” another noted.

“This is good advice. Football players and other major sports players are the face of the university, mostly. This is arguable. I get it. But the athletes of the uni must realize they are judged as the uni. Therefore, dress up,” said one person.

Sanders, also known as Coach Prime, has set the standard at Colorado, turning the team around from one of the worst D1 football teams in the country to one of the biggest up-and-coming programs today.

Deion Sanders May Be Adding More Fellow NFL Hall of Famers To His Coaching Staff

As Sanders lectures his players over the issue of conducting themselves off the field, he may also be making some big staffing news and adding some fellow NFL Hall of Famers to his coaching staff. He had added Hall of Fame running back Marshall Faulk in the off-season, and many are thinking he could add more, as he also has legendary defensive lineman Warren Sapp in his staff.

As he gets more and more big-name former players to coach for him, Coach Prime was asked by the media if he was going to add more Hall of Fame stars to his staff. Sanders humorously answered (via SI.com) that if Colorado athletic director Rick George has the budget for it he will, but soon admitted that they do not.
