“We Got Shedeur” “Infuriating”: Fans Rip NFL Analyst Over Arch Manning-Cleveland Browns Union Following Blunt Draft Plans Statement

Arch Manning’s hype ahead of the 2025 college football season knows no bounds, while some project him to be the next Heisman Trophy winner, others project him to be no.1 NFL Draft pick, if he ends up declaring after this year.

While the pressure for being the top quarterback and winning the Heisman Trophy is still there, the idea of him being the No.1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft took a backseat when his grandad, Archie Manning, said that Arch will stay with Texas for sure after the 2025 season.

However, after Arch Manning cleared the air on the situation and said he doesn’t know where his grandad’s idea of him not declaring came from as he is just going on a day to day basis, analyst Field Yate didn’t take much time in placing him at the top spot with the Cleveland Browns, reacting to this, some fans said:

“This organization is unserious if we don’t give SS#12 a shot, knowing we have 2 1st round picks next year. Otherwise the QB carousel keeps going and the team never gets better.” one fan wrote.

“If we get the number 1 pick that means Stefanski is fired so yeah bring it on cos ain’t no way bruh win 3 games and then win another 2-3 games and keep his job. No way in hell.” another fan predicted.

“told yall if shedeur last name was manning and he kept his same stats from last year in the big 12 they’d make him a first rounder. dude had 9-4 record with a bowl game 4100 yards 37 TDS 10 INTS an won the golden arm. an he was also the most accurate ncaa passer in history.” another fan added.

“Arch has not played enough college football. I think he has promise but to just give up on two qbs who have a ton of experience is hilarious to me. Arch also is on one of the most stacked teams in all of CFB. But what do I know.” another fan commented.

“We got shedeur!.” another fan took ex-Colorado’s side.

“Infuriating. Arch isn’t going into the draft (highly unlikely) and the browns drafted two freakin qbs this year and both looked solid in camp and preseason. I’m more inclined to getting OT, Caleb Downs, or the stud WR.” another fan added.

Arch Manning Shares Honest Thoughts on Being Quinn Ewers’ Backup

Manning committed to Steve Sarkisian’s program in Jun. 2022 and was expected to be a backup for the 2023 season and then get the starting quarterback role for the 2024 season. However, as Quinn Ewers decided to return for another year, Manning’s dream to start as QB1 ended up being further away.

Talking about how he felt about spending two years on the bench, the Texas quarterback admitted it put him in a bad mood while playing with twos or threes, while also applauding Ewers for handling himself a lot better than Manning.

“Yeah, he does a way better job than me, “Manning said. Not really sure I’m gonna play.’ I think…He always has a positive attitude. I think that’s a really good thing, it’s been cool to see.”

Texas will kickoff the 2025 college football season against Ohio State on August 30th in Columbus.
