    10. Alister Vallejo, DT

A 310-pound Texan, Vallejo should clog offensive backfields for seasons to come. He’s a track and field guy, a versatile athlete, and a big talent with a frame to match. His position won’t make for glamorous work, but Vallejo can be a big UM contributor.

    9. Brady Smigiel, QB

Bryce Underwood figures to be the guy at Michigan, but Smigiel, a 6’5″ Californian, might be the apparent heir. Ranked as the No. 14 QB in the nation by 247Sports, Smigiel is a true pocket passer and will apprentice for a couple of years and work on learning the system for coach Moore.

    8. Malakai Lee, OT

At 6’6″ and nearly 320 pounds, the Big Hawaiian lineman certainly looks like a college-ready player. He’s a basketball player and thus more athletic and nimble than his massive size might suggest. Lee might not be a day one guy, but his tools make him an outstanding prospect at the college level.

    7. Travis Johnson, WR

A 6’3″ standout from Virginia, Johnson is the kind of lanky and athletic standout who Michigan likes to utilize against smaller corners. Bill Belichick and North Carolina tried to get in late on Johnson, but he picked the Wolverines and figures to be a standout receiver at Michigan.

    6. Julian Walker, DE

A 6’6″ edge rusher from South Carolina, Walker is big enough at just over 250 pounds to potentially play inside or outside. A four-star recruit, Walker is ranked as the No. 157 player in the nation by 247Sports. While he’ll likely benefit from a year of weight training, his size and burst could make Walker an early impact player.

    5. Andre Clarke Jr., S

A 6’1″ safety from Virginia, Clarke is a prospect who can stick at safety or could play corner if needed there. His weight is around 175, so if he wants to stick to safety, he’ll probably need to put on some more pounds. But his height and athleticism could leave him ready at the corner. Either way, he should see meaningful action early for Michigan.

    4. Titan Davis, DL

A 6’4″ inside standout who weighs about 270, Davis could be a physical end or could put on a few more pounds and play inside in college. He’s another four-star prospect who hails from the St. Louis area. Davis’s size and speed give him a multitude of options at the next level, but Michigan will certainly enjoy filling him in and watching him get past opposing linemen routinely.

    3. Zion Robinson, WR

A rangy 6’3″ pass catcher from Texas, Robinson is a high four-star recruit. Another multi-sport guy who stands out in basketball and track, Robinson has impressive athleticism and a frame that should allow him to go up and get big catches in traffic. He may redshirt to develop, but once he puts on strength, Robinson could be an elite collegiate receiver.

    2. Carter Meadows, DE

Meadows hails from the Washington, DC, area and is one of the nation’s top pass rush prospects. At 6’6″ and around 220 pounds, he’s a good enough athlete to field Division I basketball recruiting offers. He’s ranked as a high four-star recruit by 247Sports. They project him as the No. 5 edge rusher in the nation and No. 35 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

    1. Savion Hiter, RB

Hiter is currently the top-rated running back in the 2026 class, per 247Sports. He’s just under 6′ and weighs 200 pounds. Hiter runs track and has sprinter speed, but also the physicality that many high school standouts lack. He projects as a future NFL running back, but likely has some big plays in store for the Wolverines first.
