The relationship between six-time Super Bowl-winning and new North Carolina coach Bill Belichick and beauty queen Jordon Hudson has been raising eyebrows for quite some time now. There have been accusations that Hudson is a gold digger, as well as being in a relationship with Belichick to further her beauty pageant career.
Hudson gets a lot of flak from all over, from North Carolina employees to analysts to fans. However, one fan actually defended the beauty queen, with Hudson herself sharing that fan’s take on Instagram story on yet another criticism against her.
“This is such a disappointing take for me,” the fan wrote. “‘She shouldn’t because the money/fame means more to someone else?? Because of her boyfriend?? Be real. Do I have to seriously argue against [female!] sports journalists that @jordon is justified in pursuing @missmeusa @missamerica for her own career and interests regardless of who she is dating??”
The controversy itself stemmed from her Miss Amine USA run getting talked about by the hosts of The Athletics’ “The Sports Gossip Show” podcast, Charlotte Wilder and Madeline Hill. This has led to a very verbal spat between her and the hosts.
A lot of the criticisms against Jordon Hudson was aimed at her when she ran for the Miss Maine USA pageant earlier this year, with many accusing her of using her high-profile relationship to win the pageant. She ultimately won third place, though her entry continues to raise some eyebrows.
There is a 48-year age gap between Hudson and Belichick, with Hudson being 24 and Belichick being 72. This big age gap, together with all the drama that is happening within Belichick’s family regarding his relationship with her, has so far overshadowed the coach’s offseason moves in North Carolina. So much so that actual employees and benefactors to the school have been complaining about the relationship.

Jordon Hudson Was Thinking Highly of Herself While Talking With Podcast Hosts
As for why Hudson is receiving a lot of heat this time, she reportedly reached out to the hosts of “The Sports Gossip Show” podcast for an appearance, only for the conversation to go south. She reportedly told the hosts “It’s Jordon, the president of your universe” in jest as she introduced herself and this reportedly rubbed Wilder and Hill the wrong way.
Hudson reportedly described herself as “iconic” and compared herself to Taylor Swift’s publicist, Tree Paine, calling herself “Bill’s Tree Paine” during the call. Here was how Wilder described her conversation with Hudson:
“She would oscillate between like friendly, but there was clearly like an edge to her voice where she kind of wanted to let me have it.”
Jordon Hudson would ultimately not appear in the podcast, though the conversation did lead to the two hosts talking about the interaction on the Aug. 7 episode of their podcast.
