    Honorable Mention

    10) Jaydn Ott, RB, Cal: 20.6 mph

    9) Victor Rosa, RB, UConn: 20.8 mph

If last season’s dominant display wasn’t enough, Victor Rosa showed off his speed when he hit 20.8 mph against NC State. Using Rosa’s speed, the Huskies gave NC State all they could handle.

    8) Hunter Smith, RB, UL-Monroe: 21.0 mph

There’s no defense for the kind of speed that Hunter Smith showcased against Army. Taking a carry directly up the middle, no defender could quite grab onto Smith as he hit 21.0 mph with some impressive acceleration.

T6) Abraham Williams, CB, Weber State: 21.1 mph

If you weren’t watching Abraham Williams and Weber State, then you missed out. Williams hit 21.1 mph on this kickoff return touchdown against Central Washington, a blazing speed that saw him split the entire coverage unit.

    4) Dylan Edwards, RB, Colorado: 21.4 mph

What a debut performance it was for the Colorado Buffaloes and what a game it was for Dylan Edwards. On this reception out of the backfield, Edwards hit 21.4 mph and sped past the entire TCU defense.
