Former Colorado Buffaloes star wide receiver and cornerback Travis Hunter is getting ready for his rookie NFL season with the Jacksonville Jaguars. After winning the Heisman Trophy last season, he became the No. 2 pick in the 2025 NFL draft. He was arguably the most hyped-up prospect in his draft class.
On Saturday, Hunter’s wife, Leanna, posted a photo of Hunter, showing her excitement that he is going from the NCAA to Madden video games. This photo was reposted on the Overtime Instagram account.

Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee Got Married in May
Travis Hunter has had a busy year. He capped off 2024 by winning the Heisman Trophy, which was an incredible accomplishment. However, 2025 has been an even bigger year for him. He got his jersey retired in Colorado, was drafted No. 2 in the 2025 NFL draft, graduated from Colorado, and then, in May, he got married to Leanna Lenee.

According to “US Weekly,” the couple has been together since 2022. While they have been criticized for some of the public aspects of their relationship, they have stayed strong and together. In May, they officially sealed their relationship with a wedding.
Hunter is now preparing for the start of his NFL career. On Saturday, Hunter made his preseason debut in a 31-25 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He performed well in the game, catching the ball both times it was thrown to him. On defense, it was tougher to evaluate, but he did not make any egregious mistakes despite playing on both sides of the ball.
