“THAT’S NOT FAIR”: Coach Prime’s Daughter Shelomi Expresses Frustration Over Latest Kids Ranking Reveal

Do parents have favorites? They shouldn’t, but everyone probably has their favorites. Coach Prime is no different, it seems. The Colorado Buffaloes coach turned 58 years old this Saturday (Aug. 9), and during a practice session at Boulder, he was asked to rank the birthdays of his children from his favorite to his least favorite.

Deion Sanders Jr. came out on top, Shedeur Sanders came in second place (because he had a successful NFL debut on Friday, it seems), Deiondra Sanders third place (because her son Snow shares his birthday with grandpa), Shelomi Sanders came in fourth, and deadbottom is Shilo Sanders.

Shelomi Sanders didn’t take particularly well to Coach Prime’s rankings, leaving the following comments on the post:

“I was the first to text you today too. THATS NOT FAIR. ARE U SERIOUS?”

The video seems to have been recorded by Deion Sanders Jr. himself, as he can be heard talking to his father throughout. He’s well-known for his role covering everything Buffaloes since his father took over the program in 2025.

Coach Prime provides an update on his health situation after surgery and cancer recovery

In July, the world of college football found out that Coach Prime had been recovering from a tumor removal surgery throughout spring and summer. He had discovered in late April that he had bladder cancer, and an urgent surgery was needed to prevent the disease from spreading. The Buffaloes’ coach was scared enough to make his will days ahead of his procedure.

In a press conference on Friday, at Colorado’s Fall Sports Media Day, Deion Sanders gave an update on his health status. It seems that everything is back to normal, and fans shouldn’t worry about him.

“I’m good, I’m healthy. Vibrant. I’m my old self,” Sanders said during his press conference in Boulder. “I’m trying my best to live life to the fullest, considering what just transpired.”

Sanders was out of the public eye since the end of spring practice in late April till the Big 12 media days in early July. It seems that his condition was able to be quickly treated due to the ongoing monitoring he follows and the blood circulation issues he has been dealing with for the last few years.
