Netflix’s ‘SEC Football: Any Given Saturday’ is now streaming, with almost all of the SEC schools being featured, all except six. One of those six is Ole Miss, which barred cameras from taking a behind-the-scenes peek at how the team operated. This meant that fans were not able to see Rebels stars like Cayden Lee be their true selves during practice.
In an interview with Paul Finebaum on ESPN, the Ole Miss wide receiver talked about his school not being featured on the Netflix documentary because his coach did not allow Netflix to film.
“I feel like it would been really cool to be in a TV show. Uh you know, I’ll tell him about it later. It’s all good. But, you know, it would have been exciting to be in the TV show, but let’s just stay focused and let’s just get ready for this season. That that’s what we’re focused on right now,” he said. (4:25)
Finebaum then joked that Kiffin did not want to have cameras in Ole Miss because he wanted the documentary to be all about himself, which made Cayden Lee laugh out loud. The analyst then noted that he is marveling at Kiffin, especially during the SEC Media Days. He also praised the Ole Miss coach for what he has done with the team so far.
Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Ole Miss, Missouri and Oklahoma are the six schools that refused to allow Netflix to film them as they got ready for the 2024 season. The reasons for why these schools turned down being featured in the documentary have not been stated.

Cayden Lee Discusses What Type of Coach Lane Kiffin Is
This conversation about Lane Kiffin soon turned to Paul Finebaum asking Cayden Lee what sort of person Lane Kiffin is and what it is like to be around the Ole Miss coach.
“You know, he’s a player’s coach. If you want to come to to one of our practices and be listening to Taylor Swift while you’re going through drills and watch coaches just falling down in bags and doing trying to do receiver drills, it it’s just awesome,” he told Finebaum.
“He creates such a such a family atmosphere just with.
Lee speaks about how Kiffin is completely a player’s coach and has the energy to run around and nab cones. Lee also reveals that Kiffin switches musical artists regularly and varies what he listens to on a weekly basis. For now, he is said to be listening to a lot of Taylor Swift.
Ole Miss is currently in the middle of training camp and getting ready for the 2025 season.
