Coach Prime’s Daughter Shelomi Sanders Asks 1-Word Question to Dad Over Latest Comment

Deion Sanders and his youngest daughter, Shelomi, may have had their differences in the past over her college decision two years ago, but the father and daughter were close this summer. While at the time, no one knew that Coach Prime had undergone bladder surgery, Shelomi spent quality time with her father at his Texas estate.

On Thursday, out of nowhere, Sanders posted a picture of Shelomi, in which the Alabama A&M college basketball player can be seen glowing in a stylish black dress with a bold floral design at what appears to be a dinner outing.

“Daboo,” Deion wrote under the photo.

It could likely be an inside joke or nickname-style comment that left even Shelomi confused. She asked:

    “Whhhhyyy.”

Shelomi Sanders’ reaction to Coach Prime’s post

Shelomi Sanders is the youngest daughter of Deion Sanders. She was born to Pilar Sanders and is the sister of Shedeur and Shilo Sanders. She’s also in good touch with her step-siblings: Deion Sanders Jr. and Deiondra Sanders. The latter two were born to Coach Prime’s former first wife, Carolyn Chambers.

    Latest on Coach Prime’s Health

Last month, Deion Sanders finally disclosed the health concern he was facing all summer long. After the medical professionals detected bladder cancer, he was instructed to undergo surgery for bladder removal and replace it with a new bladder constructed using the help of his intestine. Now, Deion is cancer-free.

“I am pleased to report that the results from the surgeries are that he is cured from the cancer,” Dr. Janet Kukreja, the director of urological oncology at the University of Colorado Cancer Center, told reporters.

During this journey, all of Sanders’ children, except Shilo and Shedeur, knew about his ordeal. Deion opted not to tell his NFL kids because he didn’t want to distract them. Only Shelomi, Deiondra and Deion Sanders Jr. knew what Sanders was going through in the offseason, and none of them left his side.

“The process wasn’t easy,” Sanders said in the aforementioned press conference. “My sons to this day don’t know what’s transpired. I wanted them to focus on making the team.”

With both sons away at NFL camps, Deion has been spending quality time with his daughter, Shelomi. During the offseason, they went fishing, worked out together, and made many memories.

Meanwhile, Sanders’ two sons are working to make their respective NFL teams. Shedeur, who was picked in the fifth round by the Cleveland Browns, was named starting quarterback for the team’s preseason opener. On the other hand, Shilo, who was undrafted, signed as a UDFA with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He’s breaking a sweat at the Bucs training camp.
