13 players, including Azzi Fudd, JuJu Watkins, and Sarah Strong, signed NIL deals with Unrivaled last month. The 3×3 league, after bringing these players on board, organized a camp for them. The players practiced, hung out, and had fun during the Future is Unrivaled Summit.
After the conclusion of the summit, Unrivaled’s official Instagram account posted their sign-off pictures. The players looked elated as they took their selfies, and in response, the fans showered them with love in the comments.
Here are some of the comments from the post:
“All 10s period 💅😍” a fan wrote.
“Azzi is so cutesy,” a fan wrote.
“How are Azzi & Juju pretty in Poloroids?” a fan wrote.
“Sarah and that thumbs up 😭” a fan wrote.
“Can’t wait for more content! 🔥❤️” a fan wrote.
“This is how u do promo for your league! Unrivaled has the juice,” a fan wrote.
“Unrivaled is powered by faces cards,” a fan wrote.

Even though what looked like a fruitful summit has now concluded, Unrivaled assured the fans that more content will continue to go up on their page. They captioned the post:
“And even though that’s a wrap for The Future is Unrivaled Summit presented by Samsung Galaxy🥺… WE STILL GOT MORE CONTENT OTW🤭”

Unrivaled is a very new league. In order for it to grow bigger, they’ll need all the fan engagement they can get. Going by how well the IG page is managed, it’s safe to say Unrivaled is giving fans what they want.
As the league continues to grow, it has already started ticking off some people in powerful positions in the WNBA.
Gabby Williams claims the WNBA wants to end Unrivaled
The issue of pay has, unfortunately, survived for so long in the WNBA. Female basketball players in the league, despite being the best in the world, don’t get compensated as per their talent. In recent years, players have started being more vocal about the injustice.
That’s what led to the creation of Unrivaled by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart. But as Unrivaled is trying to fill up the offseason space and allow players to experience better facilities and earn more money without committing to a foreign league, the WNBA isn’t too pleased with it.
Gabby Williams recently blasted the W for their cruel intent to take down Unrivaled and any other competitive league.
“Especially being in the CBA meeting yesterday, it’s very clear that the league wants to push away all other leagues,” Williams said after a meeting on 17th July.

Collier, on the other hand, doesn’t see Unrivaled as a competition to the W.
“Even though we’re not competing leagues, we can always say, ‘Look how much Unrivaled is paying us.’ That should allow us to make more money in the W,” she said on an interview with ESPN.
If the allegations made by Williams are true, Unrivaled’s future might be in deep trouble because we have seen this story before. Hip-hop legend Ice Cube has spoken bluntly about the NBA’s attempts to suppress his 3×3 league called Big3.
