Hall of Famer and Colorado coach Warren Sapp’s daughter Mercedes Sapp has a message for her hecklers: “Please relax.”
This comes after several hecklers filled the comments section of her concert and outfit posts with negative comments. On Sunday, Mercedes playfully clapped back at those hecklers. She posted an Instagram story of herself in casual streetwear, while writing:
“mood because yall are heckling me about posting concert videos and my fit. im just a girl.”
The photo was paired with on-screen text saying “please relax 😂” and “tis tew much 😌.” This suggests that she doesn’t give a damn about the hecklers and will continue to do and wear whatever she likes.

Warren Sapp has four known children from separate relationships. This include Mercedes Sapp (born 1998), Warren Carlos Sapp II, often called Deuce (March 1, 2000), Autumn Jade Adkins Sapp (2000), and Jaelon Austin Sapp (1997).
Mercedes is the daughter of Warren and his ex-wife, JaMiko Vaughn. She played as a goalkeeper in college at Missouri and was a standout at Lake Highland Prep. She works in collegiate athletics as the Coordinator of Student-Athlete Enhancement & NIL Engagement at the University of South Florida (USF). She also holds a Master’s in Communication Management.

Warren Sapp’s daughter Mercedes’ social media blew up after Chris Brown’s concert moment with fan
In June, during a concert in Germany, Chris Brown had a viral moment on the stage. He was seen giving a lap dance to a fan followed by a kiss.

While it was nothing new for the singer, as he has been known for doing such things during concerts, for some reason, Colorado pass rush coordinator Warren Sapp’s daughter’s social media blew up. Mercedes received more than 20 dms on her Instagram and she referred to Brown as her “man.” In one story, she wrote:
“easily the 20th dm about my man.”
Two days before this, Mercedes paid tribute to Tampa City Councilwoman Gwendolyn Henderson. She died unexpectedly at age 60.
On the football front, her father, Warren Sapp, is preparing Colorado’s pass rushers for the upcoming 2025 season. The roster has seen several additions through the transfer portal and recruiting. He’ll be joined by head coach Deion Sanders at Colorado, following the HOFer’s bladder surgery in the offseason.
The duo will have to work together if they want to replicate or do even better than last season, when they posted a 9-4 record and played the Bowl game for the first time since 2020.
