Chloe Kitts, Raven Johnson, Bree Hall and More Gush As Tessa Johnson Shows Off Fit Bod in Black Crop Top Look

South Carolina Gamecocks guard Tessa Johnson sent social media into a frenzy when she posted a few pictures on her Instagram account on Sunday. Apart from fans, her teammates showered praise on the youngster for her outfit and her fit body.

In the now-viral photos, Johnson can be seen wearing a cropped tank top that had the word ‘BABY’ written on the front. The evening post prompted a flood of responses from fellow South Carolina women’s basketball stars.

“Lemme get a kiss,” teammate Chloe Kitts wrote with a blushing emoji.

Raven Johnson responded with a series of emojis.

“My mooboo babyyy,” Bree Hall wrote.

    “Tessyyy,” wrote Ta’niya Latson.

“Ohh cute top, looks familiar,” said Sakima Walker.

    “Okay abs,” wrote Joyce Edwards.

The Gamecocks’ core is now known to have a great on and off-court chemistry, and such moments are representative of the strong connection that exists within Dawn Staley’s roster.

    What’s Next For Tessa Johnson?

The post is made when the guards of South Carolina prepare for another season of title contention. The Gamecocks have lost some of the key players from last year’s Final Four campaign and are likely going to now rely on their young talent to continue the trend. Johnson is projected to increase his scoring and leadership role next season.

Tessa Johnson, who averaged 8.4 points per game last season in limited minutes, is expected to increase her playing time this season. ON3 reported that consistency has been her biggest issue, and she believes she will improve that in the offseason to be a starter.

The 2025-26 season is going to provide Johnson and the rest of South Carolina’s guards with a chance to show their worth as early as possible. The Gamecocks will have to go up against non-conference heavyweights such as UConn and NC State, two teams that will put the Gamecocks’ backcourt defense to the test. Not to mention the heavy conference schedule against the likes of teams such as LSU and Tennessee.

In the meantime, the team will have returning starters such as Raven Johnson and Bree Hall to anchor the heavy guard rotation. The chemistry presented on social media seems to be a replica of what fans have been used to on the court, which is the communication of the defending SEC champions. The guard rotation of South Carolina could become one of the most exciting storylines of the year.
