The Syracuse Orange are no strangers to movement among conferences as they too once made the journey from the Big East to the ACC. With the Atlantic Coast Conference adding three new teams in 2024, how far will the Orange have to travel next fall?

Syracuse will have a unique road ahead of their ACC conference schedule. There’s a road date with upstart UNLV in Vegas as well as FCS power Holy Cross visiting. And then there’s perennial MAC power Ohio to open the season and am ambiguous date with UConn in which the city nor state has been finalized.
The Orange and new head coach Fran Brown will travel to Berkeley to face new-ACC foe Cal while they host Stanford in an early-season Friday night matchup.
Syracuse has another midweek matchup announced as they’ll take on Pitt on Thursday in late October. The Orange face off against NC State on the second Saturday of October as part of their early announcement of scheduled dates during the 2024 ACC Schedule Release.
Brown isn’t back in the state of Georgia this season as his former rival Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets make the trek north to JMA Wireless Dome.
