Angel Reese was on the sidelines as her Chicago Sky took on the Golden State Valkyries on Saturday at Wintrust Arena. Reese was sidelined for the game due to a back injury. While her team couldn’t win the game, Reese was still able to steal the spotlight with her appearance.

The Sky forward arrived at the game venue, wearing a belted trench-style Burberry dress paired with knee-high boots and shades. She posted multiple photos from her outing that night on Instagram.

Just months prior, Reese turned heads with a ’90s-inspired fur‑coat ensemble at the McDonald’s All-American Game, prompting another reaction from Johnson.

The admiration has been mutual between Angel Reese and Raven Johnson. Earlier in March, after Johnson helped secure a tight 71‑67 victory for South Carolina against Maryland, Reese took to X (formerly Twitter) to praise the guard. She wrote:

“Raven such a good teammate. No matter what, she always smiling. Love my booskieee @HollywoodRaven.”

On the basketball front, Reese is having another great season with the Chicago Sky, who picked her seventh overall in the 2024 WNBA draft. The Sky forward has been averaging 14.2 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game this season. She leads the league in rebounds per game.

Her best performance this season came in the 97‑86 win over the Sparks, where she recorded her eighth consecutive double‑double. She finished the game with 18 points, 17 rebounds and six assists. Another eye-grabbing game came on June 29, when she had a season-high performance: 24 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists.

In terms of milestones, Reese has been achieving them all season long. Earlier in the season, she recorded four straight games with 15+ rebounds, tying the franchise record. She has also become the second youngest player, after Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, to record the most triple-doubles in WNBA history.
