Paige Bueckers Drops 3-Word Reaction To Dallas Camp Moments With Teammates Li Yueru, Luisa Geiselsöder And More

After taking a break because of patellar tendonitis, Paige Bueckers is set to return against the Indiana Fever. But while she was away from on-court action, Bueckers made the most of her time by attending the Dallas camp with teammates Li Yueru, Luisa Geiselsöder, and more.

Bueckers reshared the post from the Dallas Wings on Instagram and dropped a three-word reaction to encapsulate her experience. She wrote:

    “Had a time.”

Looking at the original post, it seems like she really did have a good time at the camp. Bueckers was seen conducting workout drills with the kids at the camp. She also used a coach’s whistle in order to fully immerse herself in the experience.

    The Wings captioned their post:

“What’s summer without going camping with the Wings. Special thanks to @txuenergy & Teamwork Tickets for sponsoring scholarships for our young stars in the making!”

Li Yueru, who was traded to the Dallas Wings in June 2025, and Luisa Geiselsöder were also seen enjoying their time at the camp.

Bueckers has had a brilliant rookie season so far. Even though the Wings haven’t been able to maintain a winning record, the 23-year-old has impressed everyone with their performance. She has scored in double digits in 22 consecutive games and has set a new WNBA record.

Bueckers is the quickest guard to reach 400 career points in almost 20 years. She also holds the record for most games by a rookie with 20+ points, 5+ assists, and 0 turnovers. It’s unfortunate that the Wings still haven’t been able to make a splash this season.

Paige Bueckers opened up about her patellar tendinitis struggle

Athletes are often expected to play through pain and suffering. While some are able to push themselves to the limit, Bueckers can’t take that risk. The 23-year-old suffers from patellar tendinitis, an injury that doesn’t ever go away and needs constant care. In July, she opened up about her struggle.

“I’ve been dealing with patellar tendinitis since I was in high school. In a sense, you’re managing it at all times. There’s no day where it probably doesn’t hurt,” Bueckers said. “But to be on the second night of a back-to-back where I just played 38 minutes, it usually never feels great the day after the game.”

“But we usually either have a off day or a light practice day to where I can recover… Assuming I would either have to play a lot of minutes or be managed, we thought it was the smart thing to do to rest and recover.”

She’s only in her rookie year, so it’s understandable if the coaches decide to give her ample rest throughout the rest of the campaign. However, in the later stage of her career, especially when she’ll be expected to carry the team, this issue might become more difficult to deal with.
