“My Dad Just Won” – Deion Sanders Jr. Gets Real On Future After Deion Sanders’ Return To Colorado

Deion Sanders has finally come out of hiding and is back in Boulder to coach his Colorado Buffaloes team in the 2025 college football season. Sanders is going through some health troubles and wasn’t in Boulder the entire summer. During this time, Sanders spent quality time with his loved ones in Dallas at his Texas ranch.

On Sunday, his son and founder of Well Off Media, Deion Sanders Jr., appeared on Thee Pregame Network, where he talked about the future of his media company and an update on his dad.

Sanders Jr. suggested that his father has overcome a big battle, which could be related to his ongoing health issue.

“And it’s a battle going on,” Sanders Jr. said (6:20). “We’re not in the position where we thought we were going to be. You know, it’s… and then there’s another battle going on—my dad just won. So yeah, a lot of the plans definitely changed.”

While Sanders Jr. initially thought about covering the Jacksonville Jaguars, where former Colorado star Travis Hunter is playing, he said his dad’s story takes priority.

“I can still go to Jacksonville and record. I still have those credentials,” Sanders Jr. added. “The Titans too—just different things. People are definitely blessing us, but it’s like when people hear this story, they’re like, ‘This might be the main story that needs to be told at this moment,’ because this is a hell of a story, dog. And they’re about to see what I’m talking about. Y’all don’t know what I’m talking about, but this is some crazy sh*t. Like some real wild sh*t.”

Deion Sanders to Speak to Media in Few hours

There has been intense speculation going around on Deion Sanders’ health, with the Colorado coach remaining tight-lipped about his ongoing condition. A press conference is scheduled on Monday at 11 a.m. Mountain Time / 1 p.m. ET, where Sanders will be joined by representatives from CU Anschutz and his personal medical team, UCHealth.

Just hours before the lead-up to the press conference, Sanders posted an emotional video where he spoke about his feelings after just finishing writing up his will.

“I don’t know if I’m ready mentally, emotionally,” Sanders said. “Last night was tough, yesterday was tough. Because I had to make a will. It’s not easy at all. To think that you may not be here. But you want to leave here a better street.”

While the press release promises “team and general updates,” the inclusion of medical personnel strongly suggests Deion Sanders will address his health publicly for the first time in detail.
