Azzi Fudd just won a tiny fan’s heart with her small but impactful act of kindness during her annual basketball camp.
Fudd is currently hosting her ninth camp at Washington, D.C., which has participants ranging from age 7 to 18. The camp gives young hoopers an exclusive opportunity to hone their skills and train alongside the UConn Huskies star.
An Instagram user @kellitrogani posted on her page about how Fudd made a young kid’s day by clicking a picture with him. Seems like the little boy’s sister was participating in the camp and his mom had brought him along so that he could get a chance to meet Fudd. The mother wrote in her caption:
“When you pick up sissy from camp & ask mom if you are gonna see Azzi “in real life” & if you can wave to her – so mom brings you over to wave. Being the angel that she is, not only does azzi wave, she stops eating her lunch & comes out to take a pic with you 🥰.”

Azzi Fudd’s tiny act of kindness definitely made the kid’s day. These are the attributes that defines her nickname “The People’s Princess.” The mother also highlighted how the boy was grinning ‘ear to ear’ for the next few hours.
Azzi Fudd’s new podcast got nod from Stephen Curry
Azzi Fudd recently announced her new venture of stepping into the world of podcasting. Aside from basketball, this would be a great way for the Huskies star to bolster her presence beyond the court.
The podcast, called “Fudd Around and Find Out,” is co-produced by Stephen Curry and Erick Payton and is one of the latest addition to the growing list of women podcasters under iHeart Women’s Sports.
Stephen Curry even gave a nod to Azzi Fudd’s podcast by saying he would be tapped into the same. Sharing the introductory post on his story, Curry added in caption:
“New podcast @azzi35 Best believe I’ll be listening! Check it out 8/7.”
Stephen Curry is one of Fudd’s biggest hype persons in professional basketball. The Golden State Warriors superstar has given his flowers to Fudd several times, even wearing her UConn jersey to NBA post-game conferences.
Curry and Fudd’s relationship can be traced back to 2018, when she was just 15 years old. And perhaps, with this new podcast, this relationship might even elevate to new levels.
