Former Miami Hurricanes star Haley Cavinder and Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson are engaged and preparing to get married. The couple got engaged in April and are often active on social media, Cavinder in particular. Haley is one-half of the Cavinder twins, alongside her sister Hanna. Together, they have built an impressive social media following that started during their college basketball careers.
While their careers on the court are over, they are not done sharing their experiences with their fans. On Friday, Haley Cavinder went wedding dress shopping and took her fans along for the ride. In a video posted to her personal Instagram account on Friday, Haley showcased one of the wedding dresses she tried on. It was an all-white dress with no frills and a slit going down the leg. She included a four-word caption in the post.
“& so it begins,” Haley Cavinder wrote.

Haley Cavinder Posted a “Get Ready With Me” Video Before Wedding Dress Shopping
Before wedding dress shopping began, Haley Cavinder posted a get ready with me video on the Cavinder Twins’ Instagram account. In the video, she speaks about how she and her sister Hanna flew into Fort Lauderdale to visit their family. As a result, she had some extra help while wedding dress shopping.
“Get ready with me to go try on wedding dresses for the first time,” Haley Cavinder said. “Hopefully, we can say yes to the dress. Let’s get into it. Hanna and I flew in yesterday to meet my family in Fort Lauderdale for the weekend and go do all things wedding.”

The video was then interrupted by her sister Hanna as she came into the bathroom to joke around. In the video, Hanna joked about how Haley has not asked her to be the maid of honor yet. Haley admitted that she does not know when she is supposed to ask her maid of honor and bridesmaids to take on those roles. She even questioned when it makes sense to have a bridal shower or if she is going wedding dress shopping too soon.
Haley Cavinder and Jake Ferguson have not revealed when they are going to have their wedding. However, there is a good chance it will not happen until after the upcoming NFL season. That is typically when most athletes get married.
