The South Carolina Gamecocks, coached by Dawn Staley, are going full swing with their offseason training as they prepare for next season. On Friday, July 25, the Gamecocks’ social media team posted a series of photos on Instagram that show the likes of Chloe Kitts, Tessa Johnson, Ta’Niya Latson and the current crop of South Carolina’s 2025-26 roster training in the Williams-Brice Stadium.
Former Gamecock and now Indiana Fever standout Aliyah Boston then dropped a three-word comment on the post as she is joking around with the concept of training on the outdoor pitch. Through her comment, it can be inferred that Boston is happy that she no longer has to endure the training sessions she had under the tutelage of coach Staley in the Gamecocks’ football stadium.
“Don’t miss this,” Boston commented with an emoji.

The Gamecocks’ post on Instagram shows the likes of Kitts, Johnson, and Latson jogging up and down the lengthy stands of the stadium. Along with this, they were also seen carrying training bags together in another photo, while another picture suggests that they were running around the field with footballs. The upload is then highlighted by a group huddle.
Kitts, Johnson and Latson are a part of coach Staley’s 2025-26 Gamecocks roster who look to avenge their loss in the 2025 national championship game. South Carolina was the 2024 defending national champions, but had their pursuit of back-to-back titles foiled by the UConn Huskies through a 23-point defeat, 82-59.
Bree Hall reacts to Aliyah Boston’s hilarious three-word comment on their alma mater’s recent Instagram post
As Aliyah Boston’s comment on the South Carolina Gamecocks’ social media team’s most recent upload on Instagram has garnered attention from fans through its likes, her former teammate in Bree Hall, reacted to with her own comment. Hall spammed her comment with laughing emojis in response to Boston sharing that she does not reminisce on training in the Williams-Brice Stadium.
“😂😂😂😂😂😂😂,” Hall posted.
– Bree Hall, July 25, 2025

Hall, after spending all four of her collegiate basketball years as a teammate of Boston’s in the Gamecocks program, was drafted by the Indiana Fever with the 20th overall pick in the second round of the 2025 WNBA Draft. Boston is currently one of the rising standouts of the Fever, so it was to her dismay when Hall was waived by Indiana on May 5. Hall was then picked up by the Golden State Valkyries on June 18, before being her on June 30.
