“Paige Doesn’t Make Her Team Better” “Here Come the Excuses” – Fans React as Analyst Defends Paige Bueckers Despite 19-Point Beatdown by Caitlin Clark’s Fever

The Indiana Fever vs. Dallas Wings game came in with all the hype as fans finally get to see Caitlin Clark vs. Paige Bueckers in the WNBA. However, many were disappointed as the Fever demolished the Wings in a lopsided 102-83 win for Caitlin Clark and crew.

Clark had a double-double of 14 points, 13 assists, and five steals for the win, while Bueckers carried her team with 21 points, four rebounds and four assists.

After that valiant effort, a postgame analysis showed that Clark got help from a much better team, while Bueckers had to carry her team.

Fans, however, were quick to slam this analysis and gave their own takes on the Wings’ 19-point loss.

“Well, Clark got them help with 7 first half assist. Wings are not a good team and Paige doesn’t make her team better. She’s a great basketball player, but it hasn’t translated to making her team better,” one X user pointed out.

“here come the excuses,” another fan wrote.

“The Dallas Wings suck, and Paige doesn’t make her team better,” another person noted.

“How much help does she need? Arike and Haley and Paige are not only NCAA champions but MVPs, All-Americans and Top 10 picks. McGowan and James were also the best players on their Final Four teams. Haley and Paige were #1 out of high school. They need better coaching,” one Dallas Wings fan noted.

“No. Paige doesn’t create anything. Shes a pure scorer like arike,” another fan added.

“Does anyone ever think why Dallas got Paige in the first place? Every team that drafts 1 overall needs f**king help 😂,” another X user pointed out.

Paige Bueckers Endorses Chicken Wings Chain Right After Loss To Caitlin Clark’s Fever

Despite the loss, Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers made a big announcement right after the game: she has teamed up with chicken wings chain, Wingstop.

The partnership is only fitting as she plays for a team called the Wings. In her announcement, Buckers also noted that she has been drafted to the “flavor league.”
