Hanna Cavinder sent an apology to Dallas Cowboys star Jake Ferguson after she tried converting her twin sister, Haley Cavinder, to a Miami Dolphins fan. Hard Rock Stadium’s Instagram page posted a video of Hanna holding a custom No. 14 Miami jersey for her sibling Haley, which led to a funny exchange between Cavinder and Ferguson.

Cavinder, who wore her custom No. 15 Miami jersey in the clip, commented on the Instagram post. She shared her love for the Dolphins before apologizing to Ferguson, who plays tight end for Dallas, for her actions.
“go fins .. sry @jakeferg84 ily,” Hanna wrote.

Ferguson replied to Cavinder’s comment, joking that she won’t have any good seats when she visits AT&T Stadium next season to watch the Cowboys’ home games.
“yeah you’re in the nosebleeds this year,” Ferguson wrote.

Ferguson has played three seasons with the Cowboys since he was drafted in 2022. He played 14 games for Dallas last season, catching 59 passes for 494 yards. He didn’t score a single touchdown in the 2024 campaign.
Ferguson got engaged to Haley Cavinder in April, pulling off the surprise proposal with the help of Hanna Cavinder. Ferguson showed his romantic side, filling the beach setting with white flowers before asking Haley’s hand in marriage.

The Cavinder twins have close ties to Miami. They played for the Hurricanes in the 2024-25 NCAA season, their last in the collegiate ranks. They failed to reach the NCAA Tournament in their final year with Miami as the Hurricanes finished the season with a 14-15 record.
Haley Cavinder posted impressive numbers in her final season, averaging 18.2 points per game to lead Miami in scoring. She also contributed in other departments, averaging 6.5 boards and 4.7 dimes through 29 games. Hanna Cavinder, on the other hand, averaged 6.9 points, 4.2 assists and 3.2 rebounds per contest last season.
