WATCH: Caitlin Clark Rocks Power-Dressing Look as Paige Bueckers Keeps It Chic Casual Ahead of Their First WNBA Showdown

Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers have emerged as two of the biggest stars in women’s basketball over the past few years. Clark started as a star at Iowa in college before joining the Indiana Fever in the WNBA. Bueckers was a star at UConn before joining the Dallas Wings this season. They are the two most recent first picks in the WNBA draft.

On Sunday, the first game of their pro rivalry will tip off. The Indiana Fever and Dallas Wings play at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday in a highly anticipated matchup.

In the lead-up to the game, the WNBA X account posted a video featuring both women as they walked into the arena before the game.

In the video, Clark can be seen power-dressing in a business-like outfit. Conversely, Bueckers took a more casual approach with a Chic green striped sweater and jeans.

Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers Are Already 2 of the Best Players in the WNBA

The WNBA has undergone significant growth in recent years, and it all started with the hype surrounding Caitlin Clark.

Clark started to get a lot of attention because of her three-point shooting prowess in college. Her talents immediately translated to the WNBA last year as she emerged as a star. She was named the Rookie of the Year in 2024 while also earning All-WNBA First Team honors.

This season, Caitlin Clark has further established herself as one of the best players in the league, averaging 16.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 1.4 steals per game. While Clark is a superstar, there is an argument that Bueckers has already put herself in the same conversation as her.

Bueckers appears poised to have a rookie season that could surpass Clark’s. Through 16 games, she is averaging 18.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game.

This matchup between Dallas and Indiana is so highly anticipated because of the stardom of these two players. However, the individual success of each player has not translated to winning for their teams yet. The Fever sit with a 10-10 record, whereas the Wings are still one of the worst teams in the league with a 6-15 record.

The game will be held in Indiana, giving the Fever the edge. The Wings have a poor 2-9 record on the road. Conversely, the Fever are 6-6 at home.
