‘Took Acting Classes and Failed’, ‘She got tripped’ – Former Iowa Star Caitlin Clark’s Latest Fall Divides X

Caitlin Clark has once again drawn mixed reactions from fans on the internet. X account HoopHer posted a video on Wednesday of the former Iowa Hawkeyes star’s latest fall in the game between the Indiana Fever and the Golden State Valkyries.

In the clip, Clark can be seen initiating the contact with a push-off against Golden State’s Tiffany Hayes during the closing minutes of the first quarter. However, it was the Indiana Fever star who fell to the floor following the collision, sending hoops fans into a frenzy on social media.

Some fans blasted Clark for her flop against the Valkyries.

“She’s coming back with a push off and a fall! Clark took more acting classes and failed,” one fan wrote.

“Biggest flop in the league,” another fan replied.

“Caitlin demonstrating her signature (and ILLEGAL) ‘Forearm Shove’. No player does it better…or gets away with it, more often,” one fan commented.

Other fans defended the 23-year-old, noting that the Indiana Fever star’s foot got tangled with Hayes’ during the play.

“She was obviously tripped (inadvertently it appeared) after questionable contact that is many times called a foul. The Fever had at least a half dozen fouls called on them in the 4th quarter of the LA game for less than this,” one fan shared.

“Yes, because nevermind the obvious foot-sweep. Not saying it was intentional, but it’s clearly visible. Feel free to hate her, but at least be serious,” another fan posted.

“She got tripped! The video is there for us to see for ourselves. No need to make things up,” one fan explained.

The game didn’t end well for the Fever, who lost 80-61 to the Valkyries. Veronica Burton and Kayla Thornton led the scoring for Golden State, dropping 21 and 18 points, respectively, in the rout.
