Coach Prime’s comments about his health at Big 12 Media Days

When Deion Sanders showed up to Big 12 Media Days, his health was a hot topic. There was doubt about whether or not he would even be there to represent the Buffaloes.

Sanders has missed summer workouts for Colorado and has been open about his recent health issues, saying his situation “is at a whole other level” than struggles he’s faced in the past and that he’s lost 14 pounds.

Despite previously being open about his health struggles, Coach Prime made it clear that wasn’t what he came to Big 12 Media Days to discuss.

“I’m not here to talk about my health,” Sanders said. “I’m here to talk about my team.”

Concerns about Sanders’ health remain, but he is focused on his Colorado squad ahead of the upcoming season.
