‘Got Fleeced in the Draft’ – Fans Can’t Stop Clowning as Ace Bailey Rumored to be Tanking to Force Jazz Exit

The Ace Bailey drama with the Utah Jazz is seemingly not over yet, even after he has already reported to the team after getting drafted at No. 5. Bailey reportedly refused to show up for Jazz practice for the Summer League after being drafted, as Utah was not his preferred destination. Instead, the former Rutgers star is reportedly tanking his games to force his exit with the team, causing even more drama behind the scenes.

Bailey has already gotten much criticisms for his actions, not just from fans, but players and insiders alike. This latest rumor has a lot of fans clowning on him even more:

“Jazz got fleeced in the draft,” said one X user.

“Is Utah really that bad of a place to live? I’ve never been but it seems alright. Bro’s acting like it’s Syria or something man.,” another fan pointed out.

“He’s about to force his way to china if he doesn’t learn to play basketball,” warned another X user.

Meanwhile, more people berated Ace Bailey on the internet, though there were some who said that the former Rutgers Scarlet Knight was just not good enough.

“He should just be grateful he made it into the nba. Maybe on a “shit team” he can really showcase his talents. If he moved to a team with all stars and whatnot , he might not be able to do that as much. And i guarantee he won’t be in Utah for long so just suck it up,” said one person.

“I can’t wait for his 30 for 30 to drop on espn. He gonna fafo bring goofy,” another one added.

“Naw i thing tonight he played foreal and we saw that his ceiling is Rj Barrett maybe even cam reddish,” noted another person.

How Did Ace Bailey Fare During His NBA Summer League Debut for the Utah Jazz?

There were a lot of storylines involving Ace Bailey and their Summer League opener against the Philadelphia 76ers, as Philly was the team that was originally supposed to draft Bailey, then his whole drama started, with the Sixers instead opting to draft VJ Edgecombe at the No. 3 spot.

The Jazz still won the game, 93-89, but Bailey underperformed and just had eight points, with NCAA champ and former Florida star Walter Clayton Jr. shining for Utah with nine points, six assists and three rebounds. On the other hand, Edgecombe finished with a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds.
