The Arizona Wildcats have performed well in recent years, reaching the Sweet 16 of March Madness in three of the past four seasons. However, they have failed to advance beyond that point. As a result, the Wildcats management put in extra work this offseason to build a strong recruiting class.
This season, one of the biggest name acquisitions for the team was NBA superstar LeBron James’ son, Bryce James. Although Bryce is only a three-star recruit, there is still a lot of excitement around him because he is LeBron’s son.
On Tuesday, the Arizona basketball X account posted its official 2025-26 roster and the jersey numbers for all of its players, with Bryce wearing No. 6.

Bryce James Is Part of Strong Arizona 2025 Recruiting Class
While Arizona fans are excited to see Bryce James suit up for the Wildcats next season, there is excitement for the team’s recruiting class as a whole. The Wildcats did an excellent job this offseason in bringing in some of the nation’s top talent. They have five recruits this season, and according to 247Sports, they have the No. 3-ranked recruiting class in the nation this year.
The Wildcats’ most significant recruit is shooting guard Brayden Burries. He is a five-star recruit and the No. 9-ranked recruit in the nation. He is one of two five-star recruits joining the team this season, including small forward Koa Peat, who is the No. 11-ranked player in the nation.
Joining them is four-star small forward Dwayne Aristode. He is the No. 29-ranked player in the nation and should have an impact as a freshman. The Wildcats also have one international recruit joining the team. Spain’s Sidi Gueye will be joining the team. However, he is not ranked like the American prospects.
With all of this new talent, the Wildcats could be poised to go on a deep NCAA tournament run in 2026.
