‘Bebe’: Lane Kiffin Left in Splits As Ex-LSU HC Coach Ed Orgeron Goes Shirtless Dancing at Wedding

Lane Kiffin, the Ole Miss Rebels head coach, was overcome with laughter as the former LSU Tigers’ head coach, Ed Orgeron, popularly known as Coach O, took to the dance floor and stole the show during a wedding ceremony over the weekend.

The moment was shared on X by Coach Kiffin. Orgeron and Kiffin attended the event, which turned out to be a show not many would have anticipated. Orgeron displayed an attention-grabbing dance step as he removed his shirt, entertaining the guests in attendance with his moves in a cheerful way.

The Rebels’ coach was watching from a close distance. He could not hold back his amusement and laughed as the former coach danced.

Hours after the event, the video was shared on X by Zack Nagy, who is the Ole Miss and LSU Tigers publisher with Sports Illustrated. He wrote:

“Former #LSU head coach Ed Orgeron was back in Louisiana last night to celebrate a former Tigers staffer’s wedding in New Orleans. Safe to say Coach O enjoyed himself back in the Bayou State on Saturday night.”

Coach Kiffin then reposted the video clip on his X handle with the caption, “Bebe”, which was Orgeron’s nickname.

Beyond the Rivals: The Human Side of College Football Coaches ft. Lane Kiffin and Ed Orgeron

Lane Kiffin and Ed Orgeron have known each other for over two decades.

Kiffin served as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders (2007-08). Before that, he was an assistant to coach Tom Coughlin for two seasons. His other coaching stints include: head coach of the Florida Atlantic (2017-19), offensive coordinator at the Alabama Crimson Tide (2014-16), and head coach at the USC Trojans (2010-13), etching his name as an important figure in the sport.

Orgeron, meanwhile, was mentored by coach Kiffin at USC when he was at the helm as an offensive coordinator before becoming head coach at Ole Miss. The former coach stepped away from LSU in 2021 after winning a national championship for the program in 2019 in a game that ended in a 10-37 defeat for the Georgia Bulldogs.

While the two legendary coaches were serving together at USC, they spent a season as rivals. However, they were in Louisiana last weekend, having a night out.
