PICS: Garrett Nussmeier’s Sister Ashlynn Goes Public with ‘LOML’ Anniversary Post for NFL Rookie Will Campbell

New England Patriots rookie offensive lineman Will Campbell and Ashlynn Nussmeier, the sister of Garrett Nussmeier, have been dating for a year now. They have been together ever since Campbell was at LSU, and he and Ashlynn celebrated their anniversary on her Instagram Stories.

“Happy anniversary to the LOML. Couldn’t be more happy to have someone as amazing as you are. Happy anniversary @ashlynn.nussmeier,” wrote Campbell in his Instagram Stories caption.

Meanwhile, Ashlynn also posted on her Instagram Stories and also posted a collage of them being sweet with one another, stating that it has already been a year of her “loving” him.

“one whole year of lovin u, thank God everyday for a man like you in my life. I love you!!!!” Ashlynn wrote.

Like his girlfriend, who is the daughter of former NFL player and coach Doug Nussmeier and brother of LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, Will Campbell also comes from a football family. His father, Brian “Bull” Campbell, was also an offensive lineman, although he played for East Texas A&M and was never drafted to the NFL; instead, he chose to be a farmer after his college career was over.

Meanwhile, Will Campbell is now turning his focus to playing for the New England Patriots. He opened up to CBS News and admitted he did not know much about the area the team plays in, which is Foxboro, thinking that it is part of Boston and not a separate city in and of itself.

“People took that the wrong way, talking about my LSU education,” he explained. “Before I got drafted, the furthest north and east I had ever been was Atlanta. I thought the whole time this was in the city of Boston. It was a little different for me.”

Despite his honest mistake, however, he is more than ready to play for the Patriots and expressed how excited he is to move to Massachusetts.

“I’m super excited to be a Boston sports guy now. Looking forward to going to a [Celtics] game next year; I’ve never been to an NBA game before,” he told CBS News. “For that to be my first one next year, it would be hard to top that.”

He was selected by the Patriots fourth overall in the 2025 NFL draft and left LSU as a Jacobs Blocking Trophy winner, a Consensus All-American, and was named to the ALL-SEC First Team twice, in 2023 and 2024, as well as the ALL-SEC Second Team in 2022.
