EA Sports has reportedly added a big update to their game, taking after Madden’s X-Factor system in the recent update to the College Football 26 game. According to content creator Bordeaux (@bordeauxyoutube), players can experience in-game boosts as they “start to cook.”
According to this new system, a player holding a Platinum tier will be boosted to the Heisman Tier. Moreover, the gamer will get to know about the same through a green flash, which indicates an upgrade in tier. A red downward arrow appears if they drop a tier due to poor performance.
The maximum a player can move during a game is two tiers. Platinum tier will be the highest tier for others, while Heisman is available only to those already in the Platinum tier.
The creator revealed his feelings on this new update as he said:
“I never liked the idea of X-Factors in a game, but I was told that even at the Heisman tier it doesn’t guarantee a specific result, so we’ll see.”

Along with the post, Bordeaux also attached a screenshot from the LSU offense in-game highlights. A “HEISMAN TIER” label is shown beside a star player, who’s surrounded by a bright glowing indicator and directional arrows.
