UConn Star Kamorea Arnold Drops 1-Word Comment While Gushing Over Paige Bueckers’ Recent Post

UConn Huskies star Kamorea Arnold, also known as KK Arnold, has been preparing to be a more integral component of her team next season. The Germantown, Wisconsin, native has proven herself to be a thriving player in her program, forming a strong chemistry with her teammates, including now Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers, with whom she has become close.

Bueckers, who is considered one of the best Huskies of all time, won the 2025 national championship with Arnold before becoming the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s WNBA Draft. The Hopkins, Minnesota, native recently shared a few candid photos from her rookie year on Instagram.

“Living the dream, serving the moment,” she wrote in the post’s caption.

This prompted Arnold to drop a one-word comment on Bueckers’ post in support of her former teammate.

Bueckers and coach Chris Koclanes’ Dallas Wings have a 5-13 record thus far in the campaign. For Arnold, she is coming off a successful 2024-25 campaign in which she averaged 5.5 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.5 steals per contest.

Kamorea Arnold Knows She’ll Have to Take on a Bigger Role for UConn Huskies’ National Title Defense

During her most recent media availability on June 24, uploaded by YouTube channel ‘Storrs Central,’ KK Arnold was asked about the different roles she’ll be taking on in the 2025-26 season, especially with the departure of key cogs like Paige Bueckers.

The 5-foot-9 guard said it will boil down to how she and the team will mesh.

“Yeah, of course, like you said, different roles over the past two years. But also, coming in this year, knowing the type of voice I have and knowing how much underclassmen he have and new people. So, just kind of knowing the ropes around our program, knowing what we want, knowing what coach wants and knowing what we want as a team, and how we want to go about things on the court,” Arnold explained. “I think it’ll help me, Azzi (Fudd), Ash (Shade), all the returners just kind of help voicing that and being the leader on the court,” she added.

Arnold and the rest of coach Geno Auriemma’s squad are entering next year as defending national champions and will be aiming for a repeat, similar to what their program did in 2016.
