IN PICS: Lauren and Sienna Betts Recreate Iconic Photo at UCLA – From Aurora Hoops to Bruins Stars

The Betts sisters are reminiscing on the past as they prepare to become college teammates. UCLA women’s basketball posted a throwback snap of Lauren and Sienna Betts playing Aurora basketball as little girls and a recent photo of the two posing in their Bruins uniforms.

In the original photo, the sisters showed off their matching number 51 Aurora jerseys. Sienna wore a big smile while Lauren smirked. The Betts recreated the photo, but while Lauren still wears number 51, little sister Sienna’s UCLA uniform has number 16.

“Unfortunately you can’t have the same number… but you can have the same jersey again👀 We had to get an updated version of this iconic photo of the Betts sisters! #GoBruins,” UCLA women’s basketball wrote on X.

Lauren Betts has spent the past two seasons with UCLA and has emerged as the face of the program. Now, she will be joined by sister Sienna, who’s a star in her own right.

Sienna Betts is the No. 2-ranked player in the Class of 2025 according to 247Sports. The 6’4” forward is a five-star recruit and appeared in the 2025 McDonald’s All-American game.

The two talented sisters will play alongside one another at UCLA this fall.
