Dez Bryant’s Son Is Already Dominating as a 2028 WR Prospect in Texas

Dez Bryant is one of the best receivers of the past decade and has had both a successful college and NFL career. Bryant was a consensus All-American for the Oklahoma State Cowboys in 2008 and was a first-round draft selection in 2010.

Now, in 2025, Bryant’s son, Dez Bryant Jr., is making waves and quickly becoming one of the best receiving prospects in the 2028 recruiting class.

Dez Bryant’s Son Is Quickly Becoming a Top Receiver Prospect in the Class of 2028

Bryant Jr. plays at Colleyville Heritage High School in Texas, where he will enter his second year of high school football in 2025. Like his dad, Bryant Jr. plays wide receiver and has quickly gained traction in the 2028 recruiting class.

Bryant got a shoutout on X from Matt Stepp, who is a leading Texas High School football recruiting analyst, after his performance at a high school football camp over the weekend.

Stepp isn’t the only one taking notice of the young receiver’s talent, as Bryant Jr already has received two college offers from Texas A&M and Sacramento State.

While recruiting sites like 247Sports, On3, and Rivals won’t do star rankings on the 2028 class for another year, college programs are already taking notice and trying to get a head start on some of the elite talent in the class, including Bryant.

In this clip that his dad posted on X from the same camp, you can see why Bryant is being sought after.

The young wideout already seems to be a refined route runner and has elite body control for his age. Obviously, in order to play at the D1 level, Bryant will have to string together some great years of high school football as well as grow into a division one frame, but as of right now, the future is looking bright for him.

This year will be a critical one, as with a good season, Bryant could see more and more offers flood in and truly make a name for himself as one of the top prospects in his class.

The good news for Bryant is that he is playing his high school ball in Texas, which should allow him to go against some elite talent and continue honing his skills as he approaches the college level.

There’s a long way to go, but it’ll be fun to watch Bryant Jr.’s career progress and see just how good he can become.
